The Charles Reid Foundation has devoted its time and resources every year in the spirit of giving and serving the greater Richmond California community.

The Charles Reid Foundation could not have served thousands of children and families alone. Through partners like the Richmond PAL Community Center, there has been a space to host the Children's Christmas Party. Since 2008, the Richmond PAL Center has opened its doors at 2200 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond, CA 94804. Their dedication to the community and the event is joined by generous contributions from the following organizations.

Donation & Volunteerism

The Charles Reid Foundation serves the youth in the greater Richmond California communities in several ways. In the recent past, we have adapted to more flexible ways of outreach. We have used our funds and resources to partner with other organizations during the holidays as well as supported student educational needs and summer and winter camps.

Although CRF accepts sponsorships and monetary donations year-round, the CRF Annual Children's Christmas Party decisions are based on the best and safest way to support during the holiday season. For ways to partner, reach us at lewisfamily001@att.net.

Events and other forms of support are determined in the fall. For the Annual Children's Christmas Party, we will only accept in-kind donations onsite the morning of the event date. To donate, please review our suggested ways of giving below or contact us here.

WAYS OF GIFT GIVING & SERVICE

Every year in the spirit of giving CRF begins to collect items that can benefit infants to teens. Our party has elves and Santa ready to surprise children and families with gifts that bring smiles to young faces. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the help of individual and corporate donors. Your contributions are welcomed and drop-off in-kind donations are accepted onsite between 8am - 10am on the morning of the event. We kindly ask you to follow the in-kind donation suggestions below. There are so many ways to give either with time, gifts, or in your own special way. Keeping in mind that we support children from infants to 16 years of age, the Charles Reid Foundation offers these suggested Donation Options:

In the past, CRF has partnered with organizations and corporate donors for items that can be distributed in various quantities for giving. Those types of generous donations are always highly coveted and serve the larger community. Past and suggested corporate donations have included:

The gifts distributed to children are a high priority. Any in-kind donation must be based on the standards and safety set by the CRF and is subject to the right of refusal.
